Celebrate

Take part in your parish liturgies and be abundantly nourished by the word of God and your active participation in the Sacraments. As you know, the summit and centre of the life and mission of every believer and every Christian community is the Eucharist, the sacrament of salvation in which Christ becomes present and gives his Body and Blood as spiritual food for eternal life.

The feast of Christ the King, on which National Youth Sunday is held, is one of the highlights of the Church’s year.

It brings to an end the period of Ordinary Time before Advent, so in a sense it’s a liturgical “New Year’s Eve”!

Young people can enliven the celebrations in all sorts of ways, including at Mass.

We’ve got clear, practical guidelines for bringing our best to God in worship.
